The Foundation provides support for science, higher education and technology programs and projects, and encourages international collaboration through investment in ideas, people, collaboration and excellence.

FOI has been in operation for more than 50 years, which is a long time to study modern technologies. During this period, the Faculty educates the most qualified personnel in the field of information sciences (informatics) and information technologies, as well as economics, organization, communication science and other related fields.
