From May 23rd to 26th, 2022, ORKAN research group members participated in a research workshop and a work meeting held at the University of Iceland (Haskoli Islands).

The theme of the research workshop was signal processing. Participants acquired new knowledge and skills in working with microcontrollers and data analysis tools. As part of the three-day workshop, a work meeting was held to present the ORKAN project. A Member of the ORKAN project research group, Boris Tomaš, Ph.D., talked about the project’s purpose, objectives, activities, deliverables, and two experiments that were held during the second project period (01/02/2021-31/07/2022).

Researchers from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) also had the opportunity to explore the equipment and working environment that the University of Iceland uses in teaching, resulting in a discussion on the inclusion of the topic of signal processing in the curriculum of the course “Internet of Things” at FOI.
