Project „ORKAN – Unmanned aerial vehicle policy ecosystem“ will be presented at the 33rd “Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems” – CECIIS 2022.

CECIIS 2022 will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 21-23 September, 2022. The conference is organized by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb (FOI) in cooperation with EDEN Digital Learning Europe, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb,  Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek and the University of Dubrovnik. This year’s conference theme is „Smart Industry in post-Covid-19 society“.

On Friday, 23rd of September, 2022, ORKAN project leader, Prof. Neven Vrček, Ph.D., will hold a project meeting for members of the ORKAN project team to discuss upcoming activities in the final phase of the project! In the third and final phase, the main focus will be on testing different drone constellation models through carefully prepared experiments performed by the project team.

During the CECIIS 2022 conference, members of the project team from FOI will also be presenting research works prepared during the second project phase: „Localization of drone operator using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles: Preliminary research“ – Assoc. Prof. Ivan Magdalenić, Ph.D., Prof. Neven Vrček, Ph.D., Asst. Prof. Boris Tomaš, Ph.D., Karl Sölvi Guðmundsson, Ph.D. and „WiFi Access Point Localization in Urban Multi-sensor Environment“ – Asst.
