Members of the ORKAN project team presented four research papers and project results at the 34th CECIIS – Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems conference (CECIIS 2023).
The CECIIS 2023 conference was held from 20 to 22 September 2023 in Dubrovnik. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb, with the help of University of Dubrovnik and partners – Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb and Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University Osijek. The theme of this year’s conference is “DIGITAL HUMAN”.
Members of the ORKAN project team presented the following research papers:

- „Semantic Interoperability of Digital Twins in Smart Cities“ – Ahmed Shareef, Boris Tomaš, Neven Vrček,
- „A Method for Intruder UAV Pilot Localization based on Neural Networks using Intercepting Drone Constellations“ – Markus Schatten, Neven Vrček,
- „Localization of intruder UAV operator using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles“ – Ivan Magdalenić, Elvis Popović, Boris Tomaš, Neven Vrček, Lovro Posarić.
Project leader, Prof. Neven Vrček, Ph.D. within the project section of the conference, held a short presentation of the project, i.e. “Project pitch“. Conference goers also had a chance to read more about ORKAN activities and results in the project booklet and banner which were showcased within the section.
